Warriors For Peace PSA: Sir Thomas More Monologue about tolerance.
Warriors For Peace theatre raises awareness about tolerance by assembling 28 veterans and civilians to recite the monologue written by Shakespeare for The Book Of Sir Thomas More". Known as the 400 year banned monologue, Shakespeare's plea for empathy was a critique of how people at the time were treating minorities and immigrants. This resulted in the Queen's censor banning the play. The piece is timeless. Warriors For Peace has a simple message: America is great BECAUSE of its diversity!
